children and sportThe physical exercise is a habit to be cultivated from an early age, being even social interest is an important part of educating children and youth.

In children, as has been developing scientific about it, they can make proposals both to increase the level of athletic performance and, ultimately, enhance quality of life, especially the future.

Involved in child development variables, hormonal, anthropometric, neurological, environmental … While the hormonal component that determines sexual development, and thus important changes in the body, peaks at puberty, between eleven and fourteen, neurological and deeply developed long before and therefore have into account in sports training from an early age.

This allows for testing the strength related exercises long before adolescence, the aim being not the development of muscle mass, but increased recruitment of muscle fibers in each sport movement, through the development of coordination, optimizing the quality of force through the development of other capabilities. These skills are learned best when the athlete is a child, and can grow to higher levels if you start teaching much later.

The resistance training in children can start from age 8, when central nervous system has reached an important development. The work aims to increase the real strength of the child through the stimulation of the nervous system, making it harder to optimize its intermuscular coordination, for example, launch games, jump, loop, etc..

When the time comes hormonal development, especially in puberty, you can start to train muscle strength, your technique will have developed enormously and even if the athlete does not become smaller later in a competitive athlete, the skills developed will provide a better quality of life, even if only a physical activity practiced recreationally.
