Inches Count More Than Pounds
Most people who want to know how to lose weight fast are missing the point. A good diet helps you lose inches as well as pounds. Getting a tape measure and measuring your waist, hips, wherever the problem area is, each week is far more important than getting on the scale. Scales are inaccurate. Wearing heavier or lighter clothes can make a difference, as can drinking a lot of water before weighing yourself.
If you are using weight loss supplements, it can be tempting to keep checking your progress with a scale. However, if you are also exercising, which you should be, remember that muscle weighs more than fat. You could be toning up, looking great, and weigh the same. Don’t get discouraged. Muscle takes up less room than fat, so you will be looking better and feeling better, and that is really what counts. A thin, very athletic woman can weigh 20 pounds more than a thin woman who gets no exercise. The athletic woman, while weighing more, looks no heavier, and she is much healthier.
When shopping for the best weight loss pills, get a tape measure as well. Just be sure to measure yourself in the exact same locations each time. For women, each inch or two you lose is another dress size you go down. Weight is a meaningless number, inches are what really counts.
