Stages of Cellulite

There is only one type of cellulite, but it can be in different stages. We have divided these into 4 stages based on our experience and research in this field.

1.First Stage
The first stage of cellulite is formed of fatty tissue under the skin (subdermalt fats). Adipose tissue begins to agglomerate and the body’s smallest blood vessels and lymph are partially destroyed so that the throughput is limited. The skin is not the nutrition it needs. Water begins to seep out of the broken capillaries. Fat cells begin to swell to 2-3 times its original size and they start to “lump” them together to harder balls. On stage one is the outer skin (epidermis) is still fresh and well-functioning, the deeper layer (dermis) is still quite functional. Still, there are no visible signs of the formation of cellulite.

2.Second Stage
In the second stage is the degeneration of subcutaneous wider. Some areas still have good circulation, while the surrounding tissue has hardly flow at all. Fat cells continue to swell and agglomerate and increase pressure to the side and upwards. This prevents nutrients from reaching upwards towards the skin surface which inhibits the nutrition of the skin further. At this stage increases often processes and promotes the formation of cellulite.

3. Third Stage
Ii third stage is a continuation of the processes described in stage 2 The bad blood circulation inhibits the metabolism of subcutaneous. The body’s ability to supply the skin with nutrients is reduced, and the lack of protein to regenerate tissue makes the skin may become thinner and less visible. Fat cells are encapsulated in small pockets or chambers formed by connective tissue strands and are hard lumps in the subcutaneous. The hard lumps form a distinct “cottage cheese”-like pattern under the skin. Cellulite makes the circulation in the same area is poorer and the tissue becomes more able to hold onto fat and water, which causes the tissue around the chambers expand and “dump” in the skin becomes even more apparent. One can recognize that it is slightly larger areas deep in the tissue that has hardened and the areas in between “the deserted islands” are “stickier”, indicating that these areas are in the process of also increasing.

4.Fourth Stage
Now you can clearly see the lumps in the skin. Fat lumps are hard and well encapsulated in the connective tissue strands. One can easily recognize that it is packed by hard “peas” by “pinch” the skin in that area. It is no longer young “deserted islands”, but larger areas that are “hardened to the”. The tissue feels hard and is not very elastic, and the skin is visible low as a result of poor nutrition. In this stage, it is also common for people to feel “murmur” or diffuse pain in the legs and that you get water retention around the ankles, knees and groin area especially when you have stood much.
